Grade III to Grade II Instructor Upgrade Course

 

Syllabus

The course syllabus for this course is set out in the SA-CATS 61.13.1, paragraph 3 as well as SA-CATS 61 Appendix 17.0. The course comprises of the following:

  • 4 x Long Briefings that includes Complex Systems and IF operations to the standards as set out in paragrah 3 of SA-CATS 61, Appendix 17

  • 3 x hours FSTD training as set out in paragrah 3 of SA-CATS 61, Appendix 17:

       - Evaluation of the student's ability to patter IF Procedures such as a VOR Approach

       - Evaluating the student's ability to conduct debriefings as is as set out in paragrah 4 of SA-CATS 61, Appendix 17

       - Evaluating the student's general knowledge as set out in paragrah 5 of SA-CATS 61, Appendix 17-

 

Course Completion

At the end of the course, we will issue a Letter of Recommendation to the DFE
